Hosted by the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence and Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies, Stanford AI4ALL aims to expand access across the field of Artificial Intelligence. Open to current 9th graders, students learn alongside peers from around the globe and explore how AI tools can make a positive impact in the world.

Students are immersed in AI through lectures, live demos with AI companies, engaging team research projects and career workshops.

In collaboration with the Stanford AI Lab and industry professionals, students explore cutting-edge topics such as Computer Vision, Medical AI, Natural Language Processing, and Robotics.

2026 Program Dates

Stanford AI4ALL offers online or residential programs, with classes meeting Monday–Friday.
Online Program Dates

Residential Program Dates
Sunday, July 19 – Friday, July 31, 2026
Eligibility
Open to current 9th grade students who are passionate about unlocking AI’s potential to make a positive impact and shape the future of computer science.

Attendance Policy

Online: Participants must be fully involved in the program and should be remotely present for all program classes and activities. Participants are required to attend their course at the specified daily class time with their microphone and camera on.

All activities are designed to provide participants with a well-rounded experience both inside and outside of the classroom. Participants should not have any commitments that directly conflict with required program activities.

Residential: Participants must be fully involved in the program and should be present for all program activities. Participants are required to arrive on designated arrival dates and remain until the end of the program. Note that arrival day is a Sunday afternoon and departure day is a Friday morning.

All activities, including co-curricular programming, are designed to provide participants with a well-rounded experience inside and outside of the classroom. Participants should only miss scheduled activities for health reasons, religious observances, or emergencies.

Stanford AI4ALL is opening a door to a world with boundless possibilities. Students learn the foundational ideas of AI as a technology. They see the people living in this world, the faculty, the students, the postdocs, the researchers, the industry leaders, the colleagues who work in various aspects of AI.
